things hav been going rather smoothly for the past week...SAF day training at SAFTIMI wasn't as tough as wat i tot would turn out to be!mayb its because its just a half day training bah...finally this week the rest of the GOH got together for the first combined rehearsal!there's definitely a certain amount of stress within us cause we are suppose to be the COMMANDOs in drills!during the first rehearsal with the rest of the GOH made mi realise that we're realli good in drills despite doing our worst drills ever!the rest practically cant do wat we do and they're not as fast and sharp as we are!and worst still,we gotta lower ourself but taking out a certain step in one of the drills to ensure the rest can get together with us!and wat's unbelieveable is that we heard that certain unit wants to take over our duty to troop the colours for SAF day parade!im beginning to wonder how can they actualli take over such an impt role with such sloppish and slack drills that we call it!i'll be so much happier if it comes true cos i'll no longer need to be under the damn hot sun doing drills again and again...slow march round and round the parade square of SAFTIMI!!!but it wont be possible in the next 10 yrs bah...anywayz,juz started embarking on the NDP training liaoZ!its definitely wonderful for the fact that i dun wish to do juz saf day training which is freaking mono!!!but it spells weekend BURNT with such ndp training in place!one good thing is that im gonna be one of those taking centre stage for the performance!catch mi in NDP man!!!!whahaha...
besides army stuff, nothing much in particular except for the orientation programme i went yesterday!i've juz volunteered myself for this GEN ACTS CLUB for a yr long project at Gracehaven home!first time gotta meet up with the rest of the volunteers and it was definitely a good experience~!imagine im the youngest volunteer out of ard 16 of them while most of them are in their mid 20's and abv!tot i might hav prob communicating with them and stuff, but everythign turned out fine!hopefully i can end my NDP stuff soon and commit more into their activities bah!this grp of ppl seems pretty interesting!this club is pretty interesting too...check them out at www.gen-acts.org !!!and im so proud of myself yesterday foor making a pretty nice scrapebook as a gift for the boys in Gracehaven!but the sad thing is that i wont be able to go down for the first on site orientation at Gracehaven itself cos of NDP training!but i'll definitely try to make that up later when i finish my NDP and SAF day stuff!hope that day will come fast!
anywayz, nothing much liaoz...end it off here.....
