hoho...went gracehaven home today for my regular visit!below is my nyaa journal account...lazy to type it all out again:
22nd October 2005,this is the first follow up session after our first outdoor session with the boys.The plan for today is to actually conduct a session for the boys to make paper aeroplanes.The objective is to actually help the boys to relate this fun activity session to their science topics taught in school.It also aims to help the boys develop a stronger interest in their studies,science.At first I thought it will be another boring session considering the fact that making paper aeroplanes belongs to our kindergarden or primary school era and it won’t really stir up the boys interest at all for them having pass that stage in life.I thought they will be more fascinated by more complex sciences for their age rather than making paper aeroplanes.I was wrong.The session started off with us giving out some notes on the different sorts of paper aeroplanes we can make.It includes aeroplanes that’s meant for travelling a longer distance and also some that teaches us to make aeroplanes that can perform ‘stunts’.To make the session interesting,we decided to hold a competition which decides who can make the paper aeroplane that fly the furthest and who can make one that fly the best stunts.
After instructions were given out,everyone single one of us were so engrossed into making the aeroplane to compete with one another.During this time,can observe that most of us actually don’t possess the determination and patience to overcome difficulties.This is shown whereby most of us don’t really understand the instructions given by the notes to fold a certain type of unique paper aeroplane unlike the conventional ones we made.However,the good point of this is the fact that it can be observed that once we actually get stuck at some of the steps,some asked for help from the others while some decided to do it themselves according to their own way.This actually proves that despite facing the difficulties,we can still find means and ways to actually improvise certain situation,thinking out of the box and having fun throughout the process of trial and error to make our desire plane.The next best thing about this session is that we actually managed to engage every single boys into doing this little experiment.This includes those boys that usually wander off into their own world doing their own stuff,holding their own conversation on almost every other sessions.I believe it’s the fact that everyone must make their own planes to compete with one another that actually retained the boys attention into this activity.And its definitely fun to do something out of nothing on our own.It gives a sense of satisfaction and a sense of belonging to the plane for this situation.
After the competition,we had a little time with the boys eating the snacks and chatting with them.During the chat,it was rather weird in a sense cause we the volunteers are suppose to like engage them into topics like anger management or any other moral value lessons.Questions were not really asked in a more natural and related way I guess which makes the boys feel abit weird when we suddenly bring in the topic.But then,was talking with this boy which has just completed his PSLE and preparing to chose his new secondary school.Then I shared with him my personal experience during my secondary school days and tried to talk him out of engaging with bad company.Encouraged him that no school is actually bad for anyone cause it still boils down the the SELF.So regardless of where he go too,the ultimate aim is to do well and achieve something good for himself.During the conversation,I was rather glad that he actually paid attention and shared with me his views.I’m also glad for the fact that the boys have began to open up themselves and more receptive towards us.I look forward to the next session with the boys.

anywayz,on top of that,i've juz found out that one of my plt mate have been promoted to instructor!!!although he mounted squad after me,he managed to get promoted to instructor while im still a squad member nia....muz say its kinda low morale but then again,he does deserve it.for the fact that he shows tat he's freaking committed to spds...he forego all guard rest and any chances to slack in bunk to train with those that dun hav the benefit.i wouldn't admit that i dun feel anything abt it...but after some thoughts,i believe they did a right thing.but still kinda feeling sore abt it...that's human lahz huh!!!anywayz,some how it realli doesn't realli matter to me whether im gonna make it after his been promoted...i guess there's enugh ppl liaoz...so i shall juz do my part as a squad member bah...and recently,im beginning to become an anime freak!!!any nice anime to recommend?ahahaha...
there's actually some problems im facing now but as a guy,we tend not to show it or rather not let it be known...i hope i can maintain this stand bahz...i cant realli tell if its a problem also...but im beginning to worry abt certain things that might happen...hopefully things will get better bahz...

life has been pretty good w/o the tryant in camp for the past few days...nothing much happened cos i wasn't in camp most of the time!clearing my off like crazY!!!and the best part is that our route march today got cancelled cos the tryant fell sick!SICK CHICKEN!!!this morning woke up late for camp for the first time!woke up @ 7am whereby im suppose to like make it back to camp by 30mins time!so rush out immediately and took a cab to camp!luckily i managed to join the rest of the guys before they start of the run!and so the 12.50 was kinda the price to pay in exchange of getting Xtra duties!other than that,duties cost ard 30-50 per duty depending on the nature of the duty!!!hahaha...HENG Sia...but during the life run i was then told that i will clear my off today also!and i was like...WAH i spent 12.50 to come back run 5km and go home?hahahah...damn sianz!esp when i already complained abt spending ard 3 bucks to travel to and fro from home to camp juz to clear off...damn it...all thx to the tryant...hahaha...next week im on OFF every single day except for tues!anyone wanna do anything?give mi a call man!and im so excited for the fact im starting my diving lessons next weeK!!!though its super costly for mi now considering the fact that i've depleted my pay for this mth completely!!!haizz...there's alot of things that i wanna get man but due to this course,juz too bad...give it up first!im beginning to worry if i can actualli save up enough for my nepal trip next yr!im realli worried and i hope i wont disappoint my frenz liaoz...

met up alvan today to play pool today...had some pretty nice shots and almost managed to one cue him for 2 games...it all boils down to complacency!!!thx man...anywayz,aft which rushed home to collect my thumbdrive to go down to CC to prepare the letters for sponsors and schools.after getting those stuff done,had the camp meeting for this yr to decide the key personnels and stuff.once again its abt the time of the season for camp and lotsa mumbo stuff!!!took a freaking long time to decide the ones that's taking up various position.this yr,im going to be the CI!phew...lucky sia...in fact that's mayb wat i think i should do...to make up for wat i've been lacking in the past few yrs...this could well be my warm up camps for my upcoming orientations next yr!gather new ideas and execute new concepts to make the camp a more interesting one!yes,i was nominated to be the camp commandant this yr but i seriously think im not up to it!for the very fact that i felt my past 2 yrs of camp experience was pretty screwed up!hahaha...even though during 03 i was the CI for our grp,i was rather slack in a sense cos i knew i could depend on Shaofeng.so im pretty much like not needed in the first place...its more like less confident in a sense lahz...then 04 was pretty sad case too cos i din realli enjoy for the fact that i missed out the first day of camp which kinda made mi din enjoy much cos the kids dun realli noe who i m!hahaha...so this yr they nominate mi for CC made mi felt worried tat aft 2 yrs of so call slacking,i wont be able to make the camp a interesting one...so decided not to accept it also...mayb im worrying too much but still i juz dun wanna risk it all for the fact that i might juz screw it up!maybe will see wat i can do this yr lolz...other than that,will wait till next yr then say bah...
on a lighter note,aft the meeting,we went to hav tze cha to celebrate ling's bday!!!...the food was pretty oki.the show of the nite was when we were at han's place!they bought a bday cake and wanted to celebrate it there...so sean yifei JH JS ZJ and mi came up with an idea to trick them using the cake...since we guys got onto the lift the last!the rest arrived at han's place before us...so the 6 of us took out the cake at 7th floor and prepare the candles while sean and yifei slotted their slippers into the cake box to give the dummy cake some weight...and yifei then carried the dummy cake into the house together with sean.at this moment,the rest of the guys were outside han's house preparing to light the cake and at the same time,sean purposely push yifei from behind making yifei drop the whole dummy cake onto the floor in front of the rest of the ppl not involved in this plot!they were off course stunned to see that and heard peishan gave a im-gonna-kill-u face...its super funny and aft which,i went in with the real cake lighted up and we sang her a bday song.aft which,went to han's room to listen to the interesting but vulgar conversation btw a chinese man and a blangrah worker!hahaha...super funny!anywayz,juz came back from camp!today im on off and gotta go back juz to run a 2.4km run then go for off...waste my time and money sia...low morale...

hoho...sat is BEACH day!!!went to sentosa for my regular dose of sunlight and some vball action!anywayz,performance wasn't that bad today!in fact i felt pretty on form today...managed to actually spike quite a number of pretty nice spikes!!!*clapz*....besides that,i've managed to try and get myself a better tann such that those tann lines in the past will not appear too obvious!played many matches today and stayed till pretty late this time round!managed to played with some stronger teams today!even though we kept losing which i realli cannot figure out why,im glad i did do some good to my team!juz feeling abit pissed with some of the things that shouldn't hav happened but then again,i realised that im always "telling them off" on the court...guess im pretty irritating but im glad they took it well or at least,jiang told me nicely to keep quiet while playing our last game...tried to but still we lost the match worse than before!i juz believe i need to tell them wat to do cos they cant realli stay focus..but then again,i also kinda felt that im also contributing to mistakes whereby they din even say anything...i noe it irritating but u hav to understand that i dun wanna lose so badly and disgusting,by playing like super beginners!!!if my attitude really pisses anyone off,im sorry guys!but im sure we had a great time today!gonna look forwaRD to our next session man!guess next sat we wont be going bah since im like on standby and jiang is going to hav his live firing...mayb we can go next next week bah!oh...gosh!our vball got stolen today man...but thank god it was the ball we stole from CJ in the past...and who in the right state of mind would actualli steal a non beach vball on the beach?hahaha...*no link*???
oh god...my comp is showing signs of ageing and needs a tweak here and there!most prob gotta reformat the whole freaking comp in order to get certain things back in good working order.and damn it,my mp3 player got corrupted!mayb my comp is spreading the virus man!besides my comp that's ageing,i think its happening to mi too...im having a back ache or rather spine ache and also my right ankle feels funny!!!time to get some status slip and physio to get myself some well deserved rest!y in the hell is everyone getting to downgrade and stuff whereby im still suffering under a tyrant with getting any status???

oh gosh...im seriously getting so crazy!blew my top regarding some stupid issues in camp today!for one moment,i realli couldn't take it lying down and had that kamikaze kinda of tots.this is wat happened today:
had our 5km life run today and my coy was super outstanding in a bad way!we gotta run in coy level in a block formation.i wouldn't be mad with it if im still a freaking trainee...but NO!im no longer a trainee and should not be subjected to such a style of running!and to hell with them for running so slowly in that block formation!!!say im ill disciplined for all u wan and i dun care...couldn't even hav the freedom to run at my pace...it looks so stupid too when only my freaking coy is running in a block and having to synchronise our steps!that's how stupid...mind u,we are conducting a run and not a freaking synchronise run sorta thingy man!wat's worse is that we were denied our drink at the mid point whereby there's an allocated waterpoint for those that wanna hav a drink.when some of my frenz went over for a drink...my OC shouted at us and said who gave u permission to drink and all that sort of things...worst still,he denied us of our drink and made us look super stupid by making us do pushups along a slope and wanting us to get back into 3 rows in that freaking position crawling ard like dogs!!!and he said something like..."its not even 5km and u guys feeling shagged???"....im super irritated and he started making us do pushups...at that very moment,i looked as if im going to kill him~!im serious...he started with 20 fast pushups and hold for awhile and continued another 20 at a slightly slower pace and 18more...guess y 18???for ur info,he was doing with us.but from wat i can see,almost 3/4 of them died or lagged seriously aft doing 40 including the specs and officers except for him.and he wanted to prove that he was strong and he still saw ppl that still can do more and so he tried his luck at attempting to do another 20...but at the rate he was doing,i was up to task and at the 18th one,he suddenly stopped and say...HEY u guys shagged rite...cannot do rite...???nvm...situp position change...!!!bullshit lolz,its more of like he cant do anymore and most of them cannot tahan liaoz and so he changed to situps...he made mi felt like a fool and worse than a trainee....afterwhich,we continued our run back to camp and thru-out the run i was giving him that kinda attitude face...feeling threatened,he conducted a stand by bunk for us!!!and i was so freaking sure that its juz a find fault session.cos no matter how clean is our bunk,he will juz punish us for those minor details...and i was very sure his out to get me...so i was so super prepared...in the first place,im a very tidy person in bunk,so i din hav to use too much time.but then,he gave us like less than 20 mins to wear our smart 4 plus clearing up for inspection!!!and like wat i say,he was out to get mi...he came into my bunk seeing that everything is in position and pretty dust free,he purposely went to the wooden cupboard and find a speck of dust and made mi do 20 pushups at first...then he continue to walk ard and find as many faults as he can!he even checked my attire which was in tip top condition cos no one else irons their smart 4 but i did long long ago leaving distinctive lines!!!and he even tried to find fault with my boots and he squat down to check if i've polished it.afterall,he couldn't find anything else and had to move on to the rest of my 3 seniors in my bunk!their area wasn't in a very bad condition and he din realli hav the chance to fault us badly...but aft he moved on to the rest of the 6beds whereby all of them wasn't even in camp,he penalised us badly and made us sign 1 extra!!!that's super unfair and very bias for the fact that mi and my rest of the plt mates feel that my bunk wasn't the worst!!!and the fact that there's onli 4man left to clean a 10men bunk in less than 20 mins,that's super unreasonable!and im so guilty to the rest of my 3 seniors for the fact that im very sure my oc was out to get mi!and i've gotten them into signing that ridiculous 1 extra duty!aft which he went on to other bunk and gave one frenz 3 extra duties for not standing properly during inspection.he even said to him in the face that his slack...and mind u!we're not the slackest plt can...in fact,im very certain that we are the plt that works the hardest than the rest of my UNIT!!!one damn stupid thing that happened is that he find fault with a pair of black boots with white laces...this incident shows that his not even fit to be our OC!!!cos he dun even noe that that pair of boots is for our performance and it has always been a norm!imagine the head of a coy that dunno any shit abt wat is the standard attire for his men and stuff...OMG...his such a loser!!!and i voiced out to my PC regarding my unhappiness and somehow,the rest of my plt mates managed to make mi postpone my kamikaze tots!and my poor PC got to sign 3 extras too and im quite sure its becos he belongs to our plt...cos we are the most senior plt left and he felt threatened!!!i realli cant take it anymore...someday,he will get it man!hopefully,he goes to thailand this weekend and dun ever come back!he dun deserve to be back with us man!to hell with him...
i do realise that im kinda rash todaY and i cant explain why!why cant i just calm myself down and think abt the whole situation and all the possible consequences?my god...wat's happening man?hope i've learnt something from today's incident man!anyone feels that im in the wrong?i juz dun wanna be someone that can be pushed over man!cos i feel that once i shut up and let everything pass,there will always be a next time!but mind u,i wont always be like this!anywayz,currently planning to go on a scuba course!its getting into action soon!mayb as soon as this weekend...will see how!im so excited now!!!im so missing the beach aft missing it out juz last sat!!!hopefully i'll be going down this sat then!as for those frenz taking their exams,all the best~!

....my OC sux....and im being to feel stupid for not showing interest in joining the men of the red beret before my start of my NS life!and now,im a freaking blue beret prideless "police" having to do wat the pride-full red beret guys does!Standard Obstacle Course followed by endurance run followed by route march...wat the HELL is wrong with him man!!!im not gonna be trained in this manner man!i guess its time to realli whack the shit out of myself in order to get the status slip that allows mi to sit out during training...i feel it and im close to it...i juz dun wish to injure myself becos of this man!i still wanna play vball...go trekking etc etc...wat m i suppose to do...all thanxz to our dear OC...gonna hit the beach this sat i hope...and woahz...i've won passes to the CAMP BABE 2005!!!hahaha...freee tix to momo again...but feeling abit sianz cos my buds wont be ard due to outfield...will see how then...besides that,i've gotten a pair of free movie pass for THE MYTH...and i've decided that i should go for thai language lesson!!!will update u guys again yeaH!btw...JACQ~~~!!!!take good care of ur shin splint...even though i haven got it before,but i noe it sux...rest well!!!shall really meetup some day!!!this goes to the rest of the t20 gals man...

went for KTV at cuppage yesterday with some of the mumbo peeps...its was pretty fun laughing at one another singing and taking photos...its also the first time that i've sang more than like say 3 songs at a KTV session!!!usually i prefer to listen to my frenz sing but last nite kept being asked to sing...its pretty fun...after the K session went for supper and we took quite awhile before deciding which place to eat...finally settled down at this zhi cha store on the ground floor of cuppage plaza...the food is super sucky!!!not worth even 3 dollars but i was charged 4 bucks...super lousy food and i swear i'll nv visit that store for food anymore...while i was having my food,suddenly someone called out to mi...raised my head and realise it was burnz with bf...so nice of her to actually shout out to me...aft supper,tried to "rush" for the last train home...we ran at first thinking its the last train and we din catch it...after awhile,we realised that we still hav a last train that's due to arrive in say 20mins...so waited like crazy and while waiting,we started coming out with those "leng siao hua" to kill time...and while on board the MRT train,we started telling "r*c*st" jokes and laughing our hearts out man...reach home and it was past midnite...turned on my comp and started to edit those sponsorship letters so that i wont hav to rush on it today...got everything done by 130am...
suppose to go to the beach today but then since the weather wasn't very favourable this morning plus the fact that gy is not going,hence we dun hav a ball to play with and jiang will be pretty late cos he went back to cj for open house.i decided not to go to the beach today and stayed home to pack my room...as usual,slow progress...and now im slacking in front of the comp updating my blog for the fact that i wont be able to use the comp tml cos im on duty!and most probably i wont be back till wed whereby i'll start my first major breaK!!!till next tues...hahaha...went jogging in the park and saw quite alot of ppl at the skating ring...now tat im back home and slacking at home instead of going out is becos my mum went for a concert!!!and i've gotta help her take care of the 3 naughty children at home!!!haizz...something is so so wrong and i cant figure it out...

hmm...i juz realised i din blog for quite awhile eh...haha!!!anywayz,updated abit on wat's being missed out...
1st October(sat):
as usual,met up with the guys and went to the beach!JO was suppose to come but too bad he suffered a serious hangover.so he din come in the end!played a couple of matches but din win lahz.wasn't really in the mood also!dunno y...maybe its juz becos some much had happened over the past week.shall not elaborate any further...it juz suxz...anywayz,was rather surprised to see carol and nicole at the beach that day too...was shocked when carol called out for me then saw this girl beside her who im pretty sure she looks pretty familiar but was unsure if she's nicole!!!hahaha...until zhijian came then he assure me that she is nicole!played awhile with nicole and carol right beside the gay pavillion!then the gays came...and carol left leaving nicole behind!aft which zj and my frenz played a match against the gays while nicole and i was sitting at the pavillion laughing at them losing to gays...hahaha...then guan you tried coaching nicole abit on setting and stuff which i juz watched from the side...overall,the day is a mess for mi cos i've onli managed to execute one spike which i think was good!or maybe not so good...hahaha...i guess i seriously need to train more!needa find a partner soon...but cant seem to find one!!!wat to do!?????!#*@ anywayz,hope to see the gals on the beach more frequent lahz!haha...aft beach,went home and changed to meetup with my buds man!though chinablack wasn't fun,but i enjoyed their company together with edmund!!and its super funny that nite cos ed made a fool of himself for getting so drunk.and im realli thankful someone send him home man!and im realli surprised to see how benny hav slimmed down!!!ALOT man...im serious!and im happy for him and yet i feel abit nuan...mayb its time to built myself up!!!hope to shed off that bit of fats man...hahaha...
anywayz,now still planning to go for trips...most prob should be going diving course this dec liao lahz...and best thing is i should be onli going with one of my best bud kEnnEth faNG!!!hahaha...hope lek can join us too...and im seriously trying my best to find a solution in earning and saving enugh $$ for the nepal trip with kenneth next yr!dun wanna disappoint him in a way cos his dying to go there!me too but i do hav some objections on my part...hope i can stick to my personal saving regime juz to get for that trip bah...
2nd oCtober:
woke up @ 1pm and went down to my CC for the BGM for the election of the new Youth Executive Committee!was running for the election and got in lolz...thx to those that came down and voted for both me and my mumbo frenz...hahaha...was super tire lolz for the fact i've slept abt 5 hrs nia...not enugh!!!aft the election was the officer bearers meeting which is to decide who will take up wat positions and stuff...was very interested in getting myself into the adventure sector...in the end i've gotten into lahz(adventure-sea secretary)....even though im not very keen on sea adventure and its somethign realli very diff to organise,i gave the chance for the other 2 persons that's vying for the adventure sector to chose their adventure-land or adventure-leadership...even though its like we will work together,personally i think if i dun organise anything successfully for the sea component then as a whole,im not doing my part as a adventure sea secre. so kinda abit sian lahz...but then since i've been given the post,might as well make the best out of it...mayb can organised diving trips and stuff...anywayz,got more things to come...hopefully during my term in office i can come up with at least 2 programs lolz...hahahaha....oh yahz,forgot to say this!!!there's a celeste chong look alike at the election.she's pretty man!!!hahaha...nice hairdo...one thing,she's a paym staff!maybe next time will get to see her again haha...*eye candy*
4th october:
as usual,training in camp and stuff...was challenged by jiahwa to prove his theory wrong!"running on the track is longer than running on our usual 2.4km route cos that time we run,the whole grp's 2.4km timing was slower at the track"....and so,i tried taking my 2.4km timing again to see if i've actually improved lolz...hahaha...ran and clocked 9.06min...its good in a sense cos i've broke my personal best...but also bad in a sense cos it was onli a sec difference...or even say milli-second?i don't noe...but if jh's theory is rite,then i've improved and i think i've gotta time my 2.4km run again on the assigned running route to prove the theory bah!but i seriously hope to break my 9min barrier by this yr...and im pretty inspired to do a triathlon some day...or at least a biathlon...the thing is how should i being with!hahaha...i think i need to go back to the pool once again to start swimming again man!hahaha...
anywayz,think i should juz leave it as it is now...gotta go prepare some other stuff before going to sleep!tml still gotta go back to camp earli to help out those ICT ppl in the ippt...maybe tml i should go time my 2.4 once again!hahaha...

woahz...juz came back from the Superstar Concert!!!in my opinion,the concert wasn't what i actually expected.wasn't as good as it sounds...anywayz,since my tix is free or rather,ard 12 bucks cause i actually got it thru the superstar compilation cd package which comes with one tix!!!im lucky that i din actually go and buy the tix.firstly,the attendance wasn't what i have expected.even though free lotsa free tix were given out,the place wasn't even filled!plus the fact that they even gave out tix that costs $78 shows how poor the response was!!!anywayz,i benefited from it lahz...so not much complains...however,the first song kelly sang i din realli enjoy it...dunno why also...but could be due to the fact that the songs before wat she sang was more on the high tempo and high energy side...then suddenly she bring it down or something like that...for the rest of the 3 songs which includes one cantonese song,i enjoyed it alot!!!esp the december xia ren xue...very nice!!!esp when u compare with the one she actually sang for a song writing competition in the past...superb improvement!!!besides that,muz tok abit on xinhuey...after watching her performance with her sister,i think if her sis were to compete,her sis would definitely get far...her sis is pretty good lucking and hav a pretty nice and sweet high pitch voice as compared to xinhuey!but still,in my opinion,both will nv beat my dear KELLY!!!hahah...
oki,for the past few days we were juz busy with preparing for COG even though im not gonna be involved this coming one.gotta attend a BGM at my CC....met my pc for a interview and he actually spoke with me for awhile despite me telling him that i dun hav anything for him.he was commenting that my drills were pretty zai which i told him im not and im super STM-monster!!!then he said something abt whether i wanna be instructor lolz,then i was like actually i dun realli wan to be but then if got then be one lolz...if dun hav then nvm also....plus the fact that my batch already hav 4 instructors,i think it will be sufficient liao lahz...hahaha...other than that i realli dun wish to think abt this issue anymore...anywayz,went to MOMO once again on thurs nite...im beginning to love that place!i love the ambience and the crowd is pretty cool...managed to catch jamie yeo in real life man!ahaha....anywayz,think i gotta go sleep liaoz...tml meeting the guys for beach again...will update u guys again!!!
