finally the elections is over.well,im not particularly happy with the results.its not that i dun wish PAP to win.but all i wan is not a win with only 2 oppositions sitting in parliament.2 opposition out of 84...and how do u think their opinions would be significant?its not that they're always right and stuff, but then, when u need someone to check on the other party, what can 2 person possibly do?it probably sounds like dust dropping in a room man.i urge singaporeans not to only look out for carrots that 'benefits' us.cos if u guys actually realised,we're the ones providing the carrot in a sense.ever wonder where does all our taxes goes?yes,u may argue that voting for this party will benefit you cause they promise u better facilities, better environment better this, better that.but we should not forget that the other party could also provide us with intangible benefits like keeping the system a fairer one.generally,we gotta look out for the big picture.especially when the danger of having a single party parliament could be complaceny on the MPs part.no competition,no stress=no need work so hard=loss of public benefit=our own loss.and i dun understand why can't oppositions parties taking charge of a constituency have access to the government resources too?i've read something online which makes mi curious.it seems that there's an unfair disadvantage to the opposition parties when what they're doing is suppose to help Singaporeans improve their lives!!!why should there be a clear line between who can use government resources and who cannot use it?well, at the this point in time,i would like to apologise in case i've misunderstood the concept between fund allocations for different parties.but as far as im concern now,why can't every MP have the right to access the government resources that comes from the people of Singapore to help improve the lives of SINGAPOREANS and not going by who lives in which constituency?if not, shouldn't ppl living in constituency under opposition party be entitled to pay less tax or even no tax since they might have to fork out money to help upgrade their surroundings?i believe we should be fair and give everybody a same amt of resources and its more of judging the person by their leadership qualities rather than putting a gamble with the resources they have to fight in a election.no matter wat,i still believe that PAP can deliver and i hope that opposition parties will come back stronger with better candidates rather than fielding a suicidal team just for the sake of giving ppl a choice.we wan someone capable and no one that gives us a choice.

*the above post is just a personal opinion.whoever think that its extreme, please take it with a pinch of salt.no offencese to anyone though*
