well...this is for those interested to talk and talk and talk.i think it will be a interesting session esp when we ppl at NTU are so ANTI-tiongs...ahahaha...mayb can head down and check it out???hahah...might help to change the mindset.

As you have known from the last YEC meeting (for those who attended) andemails, we have been doing a collaboration with Bishan North YEC for a forumdiscussion entitled: Talkfest 2006. "Local Talents, do YOU stand a Chance?".Our target audience would be 80 participants. So we need attendance fromboth the Youth groups (Teck Ghee & Bishan North) to encourage participantsrates and to make it into a big annual co-event.We need helpers on that day as both participants and topic suggester (i.e.Asking questions).
Topics discussed would be from:
1) How locals are treated to foreign talents
2) Are singaporean second rate as compared to foreigner?
3) How beneficiary is it for Singaporean to stay and work in Singapore?
4)Are Foreign Talent more value for money?
5) Are locals expecting more higher salary than the job needed?
6) Are singaporean unwilling to take up difficult job roles the cause forinflux of Foreign talents?etc...
Date: 26 November 2006 (Sunday)
Time will be 2 to 4:30pm & Tea Reception after that.
Goodies Bag WILL BE GIVEN for first come first serve basis.
